A DUTCH Test, short for Dried Urine Test for Comprehensive Hormones, is an advanced diagnostic tool used to assess hormonal balance within the body. Unlike traditional blood or saliva tests, the Dutch Test provides a comprehensive, detailed snapshot of various hormones and their metabolites over a 24-hour period. This makes it a powerful tool for understanding hormonal patterns and imbalances.
To take the test, you will be sent a home kit with full instructions as to when and how to take the samples. These samples are then analysed to provide insights into crucial hormones such as cortisol, oestrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and their metabolites. Additionally, it assesses markers related to neurotransmitter metabolism, oxidative stress, and detoxification.
