Birmingham and online Nutritional therapist in Birmingham, for women who are tired all the time

I'm Sian, a registered nutritional therapist based in Birmingham. I work with professional women who are exhausted, even when their blood tests have come back normal. Sessions are online, so they fit around work. In person is available by arrangement.

Does this sound familiar?

  • You wake up tired, however long you sleep.
  • You get through the working day, then have nothing left for the evening.
  • Your concentration isn't what it was, and small decisions feel harder.
  • You rely on caffeine or something sweet mid-afternoon.
  • Your GP has run tests and says everything looks normal.

Why you can be exhausted when your tests are normal

Standard blood tests look for disease. They are not designed to show how well your body is managing energy day to day.

Energy depends on several systems working together: how steadily blood sugar is supplied through the day, how the stress response is running, how regular sleep and daily rhythms are, and whether nutrient intake keeps up with demand. Hormonal changes from the late 30s onwards can make each of these less forgiving.

When several are under strain at once, you feel it well before anything shows up as abnormal on a test.

Meet Sian

I know what it's like to get to the end of the day with nothing left.

I spent over 20 years balancing a demanding corporate career while raising two boys largely on my own.  I know the reality of the daily juggle: finishing a packed working day, making dinner, helping with homework and keeping the household running, while still checking work emails late into the evening. I didn’t truly switch off until I went to bed. Then I’d wake up and do it all over again.

Now I’m a BANT and CNHC registered nutritional therapist, trained at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition. I work with professional women who are tired all the time and still keeping everything going.

I understand why recommendations need to work in real life, not just on paper.

I won’t hand you another ideal routine. I’ll explain what’s happening in your body, and we’ll build changes that fit the week you actually have.

Appointments are available online, with clients in Birmingham and across the UK, so they can fit around you.

Most sessions are online, which suits busy working days. In-person sessions in Birmingham are available by arrangement.

Dietitians are regulated by the HCPC and often work within the NHS. Nutritional therapists apply nutrition science to the individual, looking at diet, lifestyle and history together. I’m registered with BANT and the CNHC.

Yes, if you haven’t already. Ongoing exhaustion should be checked medically. Nutritional therapy works alongside your GP’s care, not instead of it.
